Truck mechanic

What will you do?

We are looking for reinforcement in the workshop for the vans & trucks branch of one of our clients. As a truck mechanic, you play an important role in the maintenance and repair of trucks. Together with your colleagues, you will spanner on new and used trucks of the premium Mercedes-Benz brand. You will work with new techniques and modern equipment. You carry out complex repairs, detect malfunctions and perform the necessary function and quality tests. No two days are ever the same at this workshop! Tasks that will be part of your duties include:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic failures;
Perform preventive maintenance on the trucks to ensure they are in optimal condition;
Performing regular tests and inspections.

What is your background and experience?

You hold at least an MBO-2 diploma in automotive engineering
You have a good command of the Dutch or English language
Experience as a truck, passenger car or light commercial vehicle mechanic
You enjoy working with colleagues
You like to roll up your sleeves
