Mechanic Medium Voltage E&I

Do you want to use your technical skills on various projects throughout the country? Then you can with us! You will work with your buddy on national projects such as the substation near Neerijnen, the container terminal on the Maasvlakte and the replacement of the complete installation of the Netherlands Aerospace Laboratory. The projects are diverse anyway, but almost always involve medium-voltage installations. Are you ready to contribute to keeping the Netherlands accessible, liveable and safe?

What will you do?

As an E&I technician, you will have a dynamic job where you will work in unique locations and be involved in projects that contribute to a more sustainable Netherlands. You will support leading companies in the energy sector, including hydrogen projects. No two projects are the same, so you will quickly gain valuable experience.

You have a lot of freedom and can work independently, but you will be part of a close-knit team jointly responsible for project implementation. You will build strong bonds and learn to work well together. Your tasks include installation, assembly (or disassembly), preventive maintenance, testing and commissioning of various equipment and installations, with a focus on instrumentation in process environments.

What is your background and experience?

Completed mbo education in electrical engineering or similar
Driving licence B required
Possession of Vca certificate or willingness to obtain it
Flexibility to travel and possibly stay elsewhere during the week
Work experience in construction is an advantage
You are handy with tools and work with precision

We work for grid managers, industrial companies, government bodies, healthcare organisations, data centres and builders/managers of solar and wind farms on land. In other words: for all organisations that have an interest in reliable distribution networks.

A gross monthly salary between €2,500 and €4000 based on 40 hours per week;

What is your background and experience?

You work carefully and accurately. You think carefully about what you do and working safely is your top priority! You have an eye for detail and are aware of the schedule. Furthermore, it is important:

You have a completed and relevant MBO education;
You have at least 2 years' experience as a mechanic in medium voltage installations;
You have a BEI-AVP certificate or are willing to obtain it through us.
