Engineering Manager

Your experience as a Superintendent in civil engineering is crucial for the successful completion of our projects. As Superintendent in the Southern Region you will work from our office in Den Bosch on a variety of projects. Think of the Buurtschap te Veld construction team, long-term asphalt maintenance in the municipality of Breda, the construction of a 380 kV substation for Tennet in Tilburg or a site development project in Eindhoven.

What will you do?

As a GWW Superintendent at Van Gelder, you will manage both large and small infrastructure projects in the Brabant and Utrecht regions. This may involve urban reconstruction, groundwork, sewerage or asphalt paving. Landscaping work is also part of your project portfolio.

Your duties include:

You carefully prepare projects and provide daily leadership to executive colleagues, subcontractors and suppliers.
Working safely is paramount. You ensure tight preparation so that the work is not only done well, but above all safely.
During the project, you are the motivator who manages and guides the team in a positive and committed way.
You will monitor planning and finances and report back to the project leader when necessary.

What is your background and experience?

Minimum 5 years' work experience as a GWW Engineering Superintendent.
You have a completed mbo or hbo education in civil engineering, infra or similar.
You have affinity and ambition to want to work sustainably, such as with emission-free equipment.
