Senior Engineer

Are you ready to help build a new engineering department, putting your experience as an Engineer to full use? In this role, you will work from our Amsterdam office for the Helix programme from our client. We will be working on this programme for the next 10 years, so work is guaranteed!

What will you do?

As a Senior Engineer, you will work from the Amsterdam office. Together with the Lead Engineer you will further shape the team and establish a strong foundation. You get energy from guiding and training Junior Engineers so that they can grow in their profession.

During the design phase, you will be the permanent point of contact for the client.
You will bend over challenging technical issues and actively think about smart solutions.
With your technical eye, you recognise and manage potential risks in time.
You will regularly go out for survey work, both in advance and during the execution of the Helix programme.
Using AutoCAD, you will turn a written brief into a manufacturable design.

What is your background and experience?

You have extensive technical knowledge and keep an overview of complex situations. You enjoy guiding and motivating colleagues so that together you achieve the best result. Furthermore, it is important:

You have a completed college education or demonstrable college work and thinking level, preferably in the direction of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Technical Business Administration.
You have at least 3 years' experience as an engineer within underground infrastructure.
You preferably live in the Amsterdam region or are willing to travel there.
