Electrical Engineer
Can we confidently leave the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical installations to you? Do you enjoy working on pump systems, pumping stations and control cabinets and do you like variety at different locations? Then the position of Electrical Installer suits you down to the ground. Read on quickly!
What will you do?
As an Electrical Engineer, you will work on a daily basis to install, maintain and optimise technical installations, pump systems, pumping stations and control systems. Electrical engineering is central to this. With a technical education or relevant work experience as a basis, together we will ensure that your knowledge is further developed and that you take on activities that match your level and ambitions.
You see faults as a challenge and solve them in a targeted way, for example in a control cabinet. You understand better than anyone that wastewater processes always have to keep running. That is why you ensure that pumps, piping and the associated controls - both mechanical and electrical - continue to function reliably.
Your duties will include:
- Service and maintenance of pumping systems and pumping stations
- Measure, test and resolve electrical faults
- Working with PLC controls and performing I/O testing
- Building, connecting and testing installations
- Working with sensors and measurement and control technology
- Commissioning and fault analysis
You will work independently on site or together with colleagues on larger projects. Safety, quality and craftsmanship are always at the heart of this.
What is your background and experience?
- MBO level 2 Electrical Engineering or similar technical education with an electrical engineering basis (e.g. Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering)
- You have technical experience and work accurately and, of course, safely
- In possession of driving license B
No degree yet, but have technical experience? Then you are also welcome. You can join us from service and maintenance and develop yourself further with targeted courses and training.
What do we offer you?
We offer a job in a dynamic and forward-looking work environment. You will contribute to the sustainable and innovative unburdening of customers and society in the field of quantitative (waste) water management in the Netherlands!
- A gross monthly salary between €3,050 and €5050 based on 40 hours per week;
- 40 days off (full-time, CAO Metalektro)
- Good pension scheme (we pay 2/3 of the premium)
- Good arrangements for overtime and travel time
- Opportunity to progress to MBO 3/4 or specialisation in control technology
