Draughtsman

What will you do?

As a Draughtsman, you will contribute to the design and realisation of future-proof medium- and low-voltage grids in the Amsterdam area. You do this mainly for grid managers. You map everything out clearly so that your colleagues outside know where they stand.

Your duties include: 

• You visualise the existing and new situation. You do this in the client's systems, so that the organisation knows which cables are switched on or in use and what the new grid situation has become.
• In doing so, you gather all the information needed to produce a technical drawing.
• After the work is in progress, you will draw all final situations and coordinate with the contractor.

From our office in Amsterdam, you will work in a small and committed team. Together with 3 other draftsmen and 3 surveyors you will serve the whole area around Amsterdam. We find it important that you understand what is going on outside so that you can take this into account in your daily work.

What is your background and experience? 

You have leadership qualities and the ability to switch between people, processes and technology. You also have an eye for safety, quality and results. Furthermore, it is important:

• You have at least MBO working and thinking level. A completed mbo education in electrical engineering is a plus!
• You have some experience with CAD drawing, for example gained during your education, internship or in your job.
• You are available for a minimum of 32 to 40 hours per week.
